Refund Policy
Our approach
We know life happens. Refunds, credits, transfers, and reschedules are handled case-by-case with the goal of being fair to you and fair to our coaches and limited-capacity sessions. Email or call us and we’ll work with you on the best option.
How to request
Please email Dance@theshycat.com
(include your full name, order number, event/class, and brief reason). You can also text/call +1 (832) 684-7651. We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
What we may offer
Depending on timing and availability, outcomes may include:
Refund (partial or full)
Studio credit for a future class, private, or event
Reschedule to a comparable date
Transfer of your spot to another 18+ attendee
General guidance (not guarantees):
• Requests well in advance are more likely to receive refunds or full credit.
• No-shows and same-day cancellations are typically non-refundable.
• If we cancel or materially change an event, you’ll receive a full refund or credit—your choice.
Tickets, privates, and special events
Workshops/Intensives (e.g., Black Cat After Dark, NYE: The Midnight Catwalk, Western Starlight): extremely limited capacity; contact us as soon as possible if plans change.
Private lessons: we’ll try to reschedule; late cancellations are reviewed individually.
Giveaway winners: if you purchased first and later win, we’ll credit your purchase.
Payments & timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Banks/payment providers may take 5–10 business days to post funds. Third-party service/processing fees may be non-refundable if the provider doesn’t return them to us.
A few notes
All sessions and events are 18+; ID may be checked at entry.
Please contact us before filing a chargeback—we can usually resolve faster and more completely.
We may update this policy; the latest version will always be posted here.
